Lots happening on the fundraising front. It is shaping up to be a GREAT year!!

Today I ran my 3rd Superhero 5K. Finally, we had a terrific day for this event. I love seeing all the team names and quotes along the route. Just when you want to quit, you remember that were thousands of people that are having a much harder time breathing than you are.

My running music was the Troll soundtrack ( Thanks Paityn). It proved to be the perfect music the day.

“Hey! I'm not giving up today There's nothing getting in my way And if you knock knock me over I will get back up again If something goes a little wrong Well you can go ahead and bring it on 'Cause if you knock knock me over, I will get back up again Whoa oh oh oh, get back up again, whoa oh oh oh oh oh”

This song really put everything in focus and gave a gentle nudge to exactly why I keeping pushing.

Running is not hard, fundraising is not hard, DONATING IS NOT HARD but living every day with cystic fibrosis….THAT IS HARD

We have also started a second T-shirt campaign. I know many are wondering why we have started one so close to the last one. First….I was asked ;) I have a very active supporter ask it they could order more shirts to help advertise awareness of cystic fibrosis...( Thank you Jason). You don’t say no to that!!! Also, after we ended our last campaign, there so many people that asked if they could order after the campaign closed…I actually went through most of all the extra T-shirts ( even selling the ones we ordered for Mike). So we are going to sell them for another 15 days…We have 2 color of T-shirts ( purple and Charcoal), 2 color of Hoodies ( purple and Gray), and 2 color of tanks ( Blue and Gray). The next fundraising events are Cycle for life and Extreme hike. We have some serious fundraising to do for these events. Please send me a message if you are interested in joining me on either of these events. These are my favorite two events to participate in.
